2.Unattended Long-Term Measurements

Carrying out continuous long-term measurements is a good way of evaluating the overall vibration environment at a receptor or on a proposed development site.
The VM-56 is ideally suited to this task because it can store up to 200 days’ data as a CSV file onto and SD card. The VM-56 can be externally powered and the instrument and sensor are weather resistant (senor IPX7 and instrument IP54). Practical accessories, such as ground and wall mounting plates are available. The CSV data from the SD card can be opened directly into a spreadsheet program and an Excel macro is supplied free of charge to facilitate report creation.
