Set frequency weighting characteristics to "A", time weighting characteristics to "S", and perform auto Lp store. This will produce sound level data with a sampling frequency of 0.1 s. Using the marker function (2 types) of the sound level meter, data can be separated into up line and down line sound events. Import these data into the AS-60TR software.
Clicking in the vicinity of maximum values for the sound interval of a train passage, data for a sound event interval 10 dB below the maximum level will be extracted, and the sound exposure level LAE is calculated. The extracted sound event interval is automatically registered in the event list. It is also possible to calculate the LAE power average for each sound event.
